If you are a residential client, you will receive monthly statements but your actual bill will be due after 12 months. If you are a commercial customer, you will continue to receive regular bills from your utility company. However, the costs will be significantly reduced. In some cases and depending on your system size, you’ll even receive credits from the utility company for producing more energy than you consume, which later on apply towards the months when you consume more than you send back to the grid.
